Position Location Manufacturing Engineer Minnesota Salary Reports to Commensurate with experience President Responsibilities 1) Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods 2) Design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency 3) Confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods 4) Determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards 5) Estimate production time, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions 6) Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes 7) Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) in food science 2) Minimum 5-25 years’ experience preferred 3) 1-2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 4) Capital project experience 5) Bottling experience preferred 6) Managed a team of maintenance supervisors 7) Minimum 5 years experience preferred Contact Please send your resume to: food@fepsearchgroup.com
