1) Administer Safety Program and Safety Policy/Procedure in compliance with Local, State, and Federal rules and regulations e.g. OSHA, DOT, EPA 2) Administer Workers’ Compensation Program, including Return To Work Program 3) Supervise and coordinate work activities of Health Tech Positions 4) Coach/Mentor supervisors focusing on effective safety practices and culture 5) Develop and conduct safety & health training to promote safe work practices and maintain regulatory compliance 6) Conduct safety walkthroughs, audits, and incident investigations 7) Analyze workplace injury and illness rates and develop action plan(s) to facilitate desired performance 8) Administer first aid, coordinate treatment with outside agencies, and effectively case-manage work related and non-work related injury/illness 9) Develop and implement Health & Wellness Promotion strategies and activities 10) Maintain accurate and timely safety records and medical files e.g. OSHA Logs, safety statistics, training records 11) Other projects as assigned |
