| Responsibilities |
1) Monitor effectiveness of existing HACCP program and develop and implement HACCP plan for new products 2) Ensure full compliance with third party audit programs 3) Supervise overall sanitation program 4) Create master calendar for equipment tests and execute Equipment Calibration Program for all QC equipment 5) Monitor environment test results 6) Provide technical support to manufacturing and R&D for product improvements 7) Investigate and respond to customer complaint reports 8) Handle all export certification documentation and processing 9) Ensure export labeling meets all requirements 10) Maintain database for all new or revised specifications/formulations and ensure confidentiality of all documents 11) Review and approve USDA IIC Schedule 12) Stay abreast of new developments and revisions of applicable food laws and regulations 13) Monitor and review Product Inquiry Notification (PIN) information, work with QA manager to initiate claims to suppliers 14) Review irregular occurrence notification information |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) preferred in food science 2) Minimum 7-25 years’ experience preferred 3) Production experience in food industry 4) 5 years’ experience in USDA facility 5) Knowledge of GMPs, SOP, HACCP and Allergin programs etc. |
