Position Location Project Engineer Colorado Salary Reports to Commensurate with experience Director of Engineering Responsibilities 1) Conduct and implement feasibility analyses of key manufacturing and distribution center strategic projects 2) Recommend methods for maximizing utilization of production facilities and staff for strategic initiatives 3) Develop implementation strategies 4) Review project designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements 5) Develop CARs, approve and control spending against project budgets 6) Coordinate management of all capital equipment installations including cost estimates, vendor selection, ordering of equipment, overseeing installation and approval in order to obtain satisfactory project completion 7) Ensure project expenditures and commitments are monitored and tracked 8) Ensure the compliance of regional facilities with all relevant federal, state and local regulations regarding air emissions, wastewater discharges, storm water discharges and hazardous waste 9) Evaluate new regulations and determine applicability to regional operations 10) Interface with regulatory agencies 11) Direct project engineers and plant engineers on project priorities, guide problem solving on work in progress Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) mandatory in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic 2) 5-27 years’ experience 3) Combination of education, training and experience 4) Extensive knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations 5) Experience in planning and major capital equipment installations 6) Excellent organizational and communication skills 7) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 8) Electrical Certification preferred 9) Strong environmental regulation expertise 10) Computing skills and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database and other software/applications Contact Please send your resume to: food@fepsearchgroup.com
