| Responsibilities |
1) Work with finance, production and safety to develop justification for capital projects and prepare the Requests for Capital Expenditures (RCEs) in a timely fashion 2) Develop annual capital budget and manage capital projects to meet deadlines and budgets 3) Oversee fixed assets and direct sale of salvage materials to get maximum return 4) Provide direction for maintaining and operating all physical equipment to minimize downtime 5) Oversee, maintain and progressively improve preventative maintenance program 6) Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track preventative maintenance, work order and parts of inventory systems 7) Oversee MRO inventories, activities and maintenance budgets 8) Maintain mandatory safety programs like process safety management and risk management programs 9) Support plant safety programs through regular attendance in team meetings, trainings, 10) Eliminate identified safety hazards 11) Ensure plant compliance with environmental laws and regulations 12) Maintain and coordinate ongoing management development program for supervisory personnel to enhance their managerial potentials 13) Manage subordinate supervisors who in turn supervise 10-20 employees 14) Supervise one or more non-supervisory personnel 15) Oversee interviewing, hiring, and training employees and appraising their performance 16) Address complaints and resolve problems of employees |
| Requirements |
1) Degree in Engineering (4 years) mandatory 2) Minimum 5 years’ experience required 3) Skills in reading and drawing blueprints, understanding machine and building layouts 4) Knowledge in production equipment & procedures, and management practices 5) Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and financial reports 6) Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and board of directors 7) Good understanding of math and trigonometry 8) Ability to interpret fundamentals of budgeting and accounting |
