Position Location Infrastructure Engineer Alberta Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Lead a small team of planners/designers 2) Provide subject matter, technical expertise, and support (related to engineering) 3) Update existing plans and designs 4) Provide support for all infrastructure services hardware, operating systems, and software platforms 5) Identify hardware, operating systems, software, and procedural problems 6) Implement business requirements and technology solutions for infrastructure services 7) Execute infrastructure operational strategies with respect to operations architecture, administration, support, and services 8) Consult with appropriate service providers/vendors regarding technical issues pertaining to infrastructure engineering and operations 9) Identify and develop policies as well as procedures for infrastructure services Requirements 1) B. A. Sc. in Civil/Transportation Engineering or a related field 2) Eligible for APEGGA registration 3) 15 years of experience as an Engineer 4) Experience in supervising designs/drafting using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation 6) Experience in a multi-disciplinary working environment preferred 7) Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D and LDD a plus 8) In-depth understanding of all transportation planning and design disciplines 9) Knowledge of the Alberta market 10) Superb leadership skills 11) Excellent analytical and communication skills 12) Ability to maintain good working relationship with existing and potential client contacts
