About our client
Our client is a leader in the stretch film manufacturing industry with a fully integrated manufacturing process. The company has an established distribution network that allows quick response to the needs of its customers. Products are sold worldwide to the manufacturing, distribution, retail and agriculture industries.
Position Location
Production Team Manager Oklahoma
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Supervise all personnel and daily operations on the shift
2) Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment
3) Report any process and equipment problem
4) Work with the Production Manager (on evenings and weekends) to resolve problems
5) Assist with attracting, interviewing and hiring necessary talent for the Production Department
6) Complete all aspects of personnel related tasks for assigned employees (performance reviews, disciplinary issues, coaching, training, etc.)
7) Apply company’s Management Suggested Practices to assigned employees consistently with assistance from HR (as necessary)
8) Ensure that departmental policies and procedures are followed
9) Verify (correct) identification and warehousing of products
10) Distribute plant status reports to the next-shift Team Manager, team coordinators and Production Manager
11) Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping of the area
12) Ensure that production quality and quantity standards are met
13) Troubleshoot problems and make appropriate notifications to correct issues
14) Perform additional duties (as assigned)
Requirements
1) Degree/Diploma or 4 years of experience in a similar role (manufacturing industry preferred)
2) Experience in plastics (stretch film preferred)
3) Knowledge of all plant processes
4) Ability to prioritize and coordinate the completion of a variety of tasks
5) Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
6) Ability to build positive and productive teams
7) Superb leadership and communication skills
8) Keen attention to detail
