Position Location Senior Highway Project Engineer Virginia Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Assist the Department Manager in the direction and supervision of the Aviation Planning Group 2) Coordinate project priorities, staffing schedules and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the best design capabilities to meet their needs 3) Assist with planning, organizing, developing and the maintenance of airport planning programs 4) Ensure the efficient and productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service 5) Assist the Department Manager in the hiring, supervision, development, evaluation and termination of staff members 6) Work with the Department Manager to establish and approve budgets for the group 7) Direct and coordinate national business development efforts for airport planning 8) Assist the Department Manager with developing, implementing and maintaining effective sales and marketing programs that provide for maximum exposure to new business prospects 9) Maintain and develop potential business prospects 10) Assist Department Head with developing and implementing promotional programs and marketing plans 11) Prepare proposals, presentations and qualifications packages 12) Serve as Project Manager on large hub airport master plans and on-call contracts Requirements 1) Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) 2) 10 – 25 years of experience in aviation planning 3) Experience as a Manager in the direction and supervision of aviation planning
