Position Location Engineering Manager Ontario Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Supervise other engineers and designers in designing lift devices, critical lift plans, etc. 2) Assist with developing a structural side to the company starting with existing clients 3) Contribute to the growth of the department Requirements 1) BS in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering 2) P. Eng. license (Ontario preferred) 3) Experience in project engineering or managing an Engineering Department 4) Expertise in performing calculations independently and reviewing calculations of other engineers 5) Experience in preparing formal written reports 6) Expertise in creating 2D drawings in AutoCAD and MS Office 7) Experience in designing steel structures, welded and bolted connections, and/or lift equipment 8) Good problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions 9) Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) 10) Ability to be an effective Manager and motivate a staff of engineers and field technicians
