Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Identify problems and analyze transportation planning issues (regular transportation studies and airport landside planning)
2) Develop scopes and budgets
3) Implement work plans for projects
4) Supervise junior and mid-level staff
5) Write technical reports
6) Present findings to as well as answer questions by clients and the general public
7) Market transportation planning/engineering services to assigned client base
8) Create multi-modal facility plans and designs using AutoCAD
9) Apply and/or manage traffic simulation techniques (VISSIM and CORSIM)
10) Conduct and/or manage manual and computer-based analyses including HCS and Synchro, GIS, Visual Basic programming as well as queuing analysis
11) Apply and/or manage the application of travel demand-forecasting models
12) Make field inspections
13) Consult with affected parties to establish background and context for projects |
| Requirements |
1) Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
2) AICP certification
3) PE license or eligibility to get license preferred
4) 10 years of experience in transportation planning/engineering
5) Experience in marketing transportation planning services with positive results
6) Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
7) Driver's license from an appropriate US jurisdiction |
