Senior Project Manager Richmond, VA
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects
2) Oversee managers working on client engagements within practice
3) Review high-level deliverables across projects
4) Manage scope and mitigate risk across projects
5) Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects
6) Integrate financial data for multiple projects
7) Achieve "add on" revenue goals
8) Assist in the identification of strategic accounts
9) Achieve revenue goals set for projects
10) Accomplish day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple or large-scale projects
11) Pursue excellence in all aspects of business
12) Review evaluations within practice for consistency
13) Lend expertise to internal teams and task forces
14) Assess training needs and select training tools for team members
15) Comply with and enforce standard policies and procedures
Requirements
1) BS in Civil Engineering
2) P. Eng. license
3) 10+ years of experience as a supervisor of a highway/roadway/civil department
4) Minimum 3 years of experience in managing large roadway projects
5) Experience with VDOT and Virginia clients preferred
6) Must posses Virginia PE within 3 months of hire
7) Ability to manage marketing efforts and staff in Richmond
8) Knowledge of budgets, QA/QC, negotiating and A/R
