Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Coordinate and oversee performance of the Engineering Department
2) Handle development of long- and short-term mining plans
3) Oversee underground surveying as well as monitoring and resolution of ground control issues
4) Mentor junior Engineering staff
5) Coordinate short- and long-term mine planning (designing and scheduling)
6) Coordinate underground overhauls and replacements
7) Ensure management of ground control issues
8) Manage compliance with safety and environmental requirements
9) Participate in budgeting process (capital and operational) |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Mining Engineering
2) 6 – 10 years of experience in a specialty area (mining)
3) In-depth knowledge of engineering and designing
4) Good project management skills |
