Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Assist in developing the company’s rapidly
growing business sector
2) Mentor and manage junior staff
3) Direct and mentor staff while taking a hands-on role in track design projects
4) Engage (proactively) in career development with the staff
5) Act as client liaison/Project Manager
6) Handle contract negotiations and ensure adherence to contract terms
7) Work with the Rail Practice Lead to develop and implement the strategic
business plan for the group
8) Recruit and hire key staff |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year)
2) Minimum 15 years of experience in railway track engineering
3) Experience in grading and track design for mainlines, sidings, industrial
yards and spur tracks
4) Experience in intermodal and transload facilities as well as light rail
railway operations planning related to industrial facilities
5) Track construction supervision experience
6) Expertise in AutoCad, MicroStation, Civil 3D, In Roads, InRail, Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint
7) Excellent project management skills
8) Ability to manage and lead a highly motivated Design Team of other railway
engineers and technologists
9) Ability to complete conceptual plans, preliminary and detailed designs as well as cost estimating |
