| Responsibilities |
1) Supervise a staff of junior engineers
2) Propose the development of policies and guidelines for engineering projects
3) Prepare and review drawings, graphics and plans
4) Review structural designs
5) Prepare and review final engineering designs, specifications and cost estimates
6) Review engineering and structural documents to evaluate impact on design
7) Perform value-engineering studies
8) Evaluate proposals for feasibility and cost effectiveness
9) Review final specifications and designs for accuracy and conformance in field conditions |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering
2) P. Eng. license
3) 3+ years of relevant design experience
4) Experience in using AutoCAD
5) Experience in the consulting industry
6) Experience in dealing directly with clients an asset
7) Superb communication and interpersonal skills
8) Willingness to travel (domestic and international projects) |
