Position Location Senior Mechanical Engineer Kanata, ON Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Provide HVAC and Plumbing expertise and design for bio-containment and other high-tech facilities 2) Must be willing to work in a design team environment, including directing the work of junior engineers and designers, and delegating work as required 3) Design tasks will include Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analyses, Calculations, Equipment selection and layout, and System selection and layout Requirements 1) Bachelor of Sciences 2) Ability to manage other engineers and designers 3) Interface with client contacts 4) Experience in designing high-tech (biological or nuclear containment, cleanrooms, etc.) projects is preferred 5) Canadian Registered Engineer (P.Eng) is required 6) Engineer registered in Ontario is preferred 7) Must be highly qualified in HVAC and plumbing design 8) Good computer design software and AutoCAD skills are preferred.
