Position Location Design Architect III Kanata, ON Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management Responsibilities 1) Ability to design complex architectural facilities 2) Good verbal and writing skills and be able to interact effectively with clients and other employees 3) Possess strong oral presentation skills 4) Capable of providing leadership to a support staff in production of architectural designs in multi-discipline work environment 5) Able to travel occasionally and possess a current passport Requirements 1) Bachelor of Sciences 2) Licensed to practice architecture in Ontario 3) Experienced in all aspects of architectural practice including programming, schematic design, production of construction documents, including production of drawings and specifications, and construction administration 4) Knowledgeable on current building codes and contemporary methods of heavy commercial, institutional and industrial construction 5) Experience in laboratory design is desirable 6) Preference will be given to candidates with ten or more years of experience in the practice of architecture
