About our client
Our client is a large engineering firm specializing in energy solutions.
Position Location
Construction Management Engineer – Energy Wisconsin
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Provide technical design support and coordination to plan and develop large construction projects
2) Oversee consulting engineers and architects performing project design and permitting activities
3) Provide support for and develop project schedules including procuring equipment, permitting as well as site coordination
4) Oversee large construction projects through managing contractors, observing construction activities and reviewing construction documentation
5) Provide technical design and coordination support to ensure that construction goals of schedule, budget, quality and safety are achieved
6) Create periodic project status reports for management review
7) Develop project and construction management procedures as well as technical standards for construction activities
8) Implement construction permits
9) Provide quality assurance and control of work performed by subcontractors
Requirements
1) BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
2) P. Eng. registration in Wisconsin or the ability to obtain it
3) Minimum 5 years of work-related experience in construction in an energy-related field
4) Construction project management experience
5) Excellent project management and construction management skills
6) Ability to provide guidance and functional supervision of architects, engineers, and technicians involved in project design and permitting
7) Knowledge of conventional power plant, cogeneration, renewable and distributed generation technologies
