| Responsibilities |
1) Support engineering analysis for modifications and new designs of piping, pressure vessels and mechanical equipment 2) Conduct fitness for service assessments and coordinate external engineering support 3) Develop and maintain engineering standards and specifications relating to mechanical equipment and systems 4) Audit plant site and equipment preservation methods 5) Support planning and execution of upgrader commissioning, start-up and on-going operations |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Mechanical Engineering 2) Knowledge of current statutory regulations, industry standards and recommended practices 3) Minimum 6 years of plant site experience in an operating upgrader, oil refinery or hydrocarbon industry 4) Ability to analyze mechanical equipment and piping systems, conduct stress analysis and perform fitness for service evaluations in an operating plant environment 5) Experience in material handling and rotating equipment considered an asset 6) Excellent planning and execution skills to deliver results and meet quality, cost and schedule targets |
