| Responsibilities |
1) Provide energy analysis, operational cost reduction analysis and service opportunities of assigned engineering projects 2) Determine feasibility of projects and recommend course of action including assessment of opportunity and risk areas 3) Compile energy consumption, system efficiency, operational savings and service data 4) Obtain and analyze utility usage data 5) Conduct energy and operational cost reduction measurements as well as to visually inspect overall operations 6) Analyze data to identify and quantify energy and operational savings potential 7) Compare facility performance to industry-specific norms 8) Identify energy conservation measures and calculate a financial analysis of energy and operational savings for each |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 2) P. Eng license preferred 3) Minimum 5 years of energy management experience (energy efficiency projects) 4) Experience in supervising or overseeing staff and junior energy engineers 5) Expertise in energy audits, field assessments, energy simulation modeling and energy savings analysis |
