Position Location Production / Maintenance Manager North Carolina Salary Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Responsibilities 1) Supervise all personnel and daily operations on the shift 2) Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment 3) Report any process and equipment problem 4) Assist with attracting, interviewing and hiring necessary talent for the Production Department 5) Complete all aspects of personnel related tasks for assigned employees (performance reviews, disciplinary issues, coaching, training, etc.) 6) Apply company’s Management Suggested Practices to assigned employees consistently with assistance from HR (as necessary) 7) Ensure that departmental policies and procedures are followed 8) Verify (correct) identification and warehousing of products 9) Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping of the area 10) Ensure that production quality and quantity standards are met 11) Troubleshoot problems and make appropriate notifications to correct Issues Requirements 1) Degree/Diploma or 4 years of experience in a similar role (manufacturing industry preferred) 2) Experience in plastics (stretch film preferred) 3) Knowledge of all plant processes 4) Ability to prioritize and coordinate the completion of a variety of tasks 5) Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills 6) Ability to build positive and productive teams 7) Superb leadership and communication skills
