Position Location Construction Supervisor Saskatchewan Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Site Engineer Responsibilities 1) Handle QA/QC construction inspection in accordance with the directions and goals of senior management personnel 2) Assist the Manager to oversee Construction Team on utility projects 3) Interpret construction drawings and specifications and evaluate deviations from specified construction procedures 4) Identify impacts due to deviation from construction procedures 5) Estimate any cost associated with deviation from construction procedures and evaluate the effect of deviations on project budget and schedule 6) Work with engineers to resolve features of the construction plans and specifications that will not work as designed in the field 7) Assist Manager with third party contractors 8) Work with Manager to ensure safety, environmental design specifications compliance, and similar construction specifications and requirements 9) Review engineering designs, drawings, as-builts, blueprints, and other related engineering documents for construction activities 10) Oversee subcontractors and/or vendors/suppliers performing work on the project Requirements 1) BS in Civil Engineering (specializing in construction) 2) Experience in and knowledge of construction methods and equipment 4) Superb business development and client management skills 5) Excellent leadership and communication skills 6) Self-starter with keen attention to detail
