Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Monitors work flow, sets priorities & serves as technical resource for assigned projects for designers and account managers
2) Provide customer support, directly & with account managers including reviewing all project requests, suggesting designs/materials
3) Designs custom packaging and material handling products for customers
4) Works closely with manufacturing to ensure that designs can be manufactured
5) Creates prototype drawing specifications using CAD for customer approval, external testing and tooling requirements
6) Constructs prototype/sample for customer review and approval
7) Writes and maintains accurate, up-to-date files for all product specifications
8) Sources vendors for the purchase of materials |
| Requirements |
1) BS in Packaging Engineering or equivalent experience
2) 5 years of experience in design/manufacturing
3) Working knowledge of molded plastics |
