For many HR professionals, winning the respect of the CEO and other executives is an uphill battle. Most HR people agree that CEOs and line managers don’t give them the respect they deserve. Yet all CEOs seem to agree that ‘people’ are a company’s most important asset. So why is HR so often the
lowest paid function? And when the leaders of a company fail to recognize the importance of HR, how can HR people advance their careers?

This seminar will be a blunt, revealing look at what CEOs and Line Managers say about HR behind closed doors. You’ll learn how to stand out from ‘average’ HR people, how to get executives to listen, and how to build credibility inside your company.
Drawing on insights from hundreds of HR leaders and CEOs across North America, you'll receive direct, practical insight about issues such as:

  • Why don't senior management teams value HR's strategic input?
  • What can HR people do beyond the obvious to increase their value?
  • What the world's top HR executives do differently that ensures a place at the strategy table;
  • Why are HR executives almost never considered for CEO positions?

  • Keys to help HR win credibility with all senior executives, no matter what industry;
  • Is outsourcing a threat to the HR function? How do you prepare for it?
Only professionals with corporate HR experience will be permitted to attend this session. This is a seminar about your career in HR, and how to ensure that you are given the respect and growth opportunities you deserve.

PLUS:
A panel of senior HR executives will be on hand to provide their own views and insights on the topics discussed during this exciting seminar.

Cost to attend this seminar is $45 and all profits from ticket sales will be donated to Heifer International
